5. Change Your Own Oil

Changing the oil on your own vehicle will save you money but can end up taking more time than going to a shop. If you don’t mind draining your own oil and then disposing of it properly head to the auto parts store and get yourself a filter, the right amount of oil, and something to drain the oil into. When you are done make sure you take the used oil back to the parts store so the oil can be recycled. Don’t pour it down the drain.
