1.  Mercury Capri

Probably the ugliest car to come out of the 1990s.  The Mercury Capri was a Ford designed convertible that was built on the Mazda 323 platform.  Unfortunately the Capri was front wheel drive and this was partially to blame for its unsuccessful sales.  The little coupe couldn’t perform with the likes of the Mazda Miata which happened to be the world’s best two seater economy roadster at that time.  It was also pretty ugly and used the dreaded wedge design from the early 1980s.  Thankfully Mercury killed the Capri in 1994 after just three years.
