The Porsche 918 Spyder is Porsche’s latest and greatest claim to fame.  Its hybrid drive system produces just under 900 horsepower that is fed to all four corners of the its all wheel drive setup.  The 918 is one of the fastest and most iconic super cars to ever run time trials on the Nürburgring.  It is the quickest hybrid and production car with a mind blowing record lap of 6 minutes and 57 seconds flat.  Its been over two years since the the Spyder claimed this fame but the McLaren P1 and Ferrari’s LaFerrari haven’t had a chance to test the luck.
